Governor's Achievement Award for Popular Music

This award is presented at the Governor’s discretion to an Alabamian who has exhibited outstanding service in the promotion and preservation of music. The Governor chooses the award winner from three nominees selected by the Board of Directors of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
