Bryan Carter is one of several residents of Haleyville who is a noted musician. He is in music full-time, as a member of the Jeff and Sheri Easter Band, headquartered in Lincoln, GA.

The local musician, who makes his home in Haleyville with parents Nelson and Annette Carter, travels with the band for concerts throughout the United States and Canada. He is a singer, and plays guitar.

Bryan grew up in a music family, and began making appearances at age nine. He plays the guitar, piano and drums. He specializes in Southern Gospel music. The Carter family owns a recording studio. Among songs Bryan has written is "Rich On The Inside" and nine other songs on the same tape.

The band Bryan plays with helps record those famous Gaither Singers tapes. He has been with the Gaithers on their cruise ship performances.

In the band he plays with, Jeff and Sheri Easter are the singers, Charlotte Richie is the backup singer, Bryan plays the guitar, and Greg Richie is the drummer. Bryan went to schools in Nauvoo and in Carbon Hill. His father is a noted gospel singer himself.
