Brian Baughn assisted in the reactivation of Monk Family Music Group in 1994 and currently serves as Vice President/General Manager. He is responsible for generating song activity, finding new songwriters, advising staff writers on their craft, and managing the day to day activities of the company.

Prior to joining MFMG, Baughn served as Creative Coordinator at Acuff-Rose Music, joining that company in 1988. While at Acuff-Rose, he was responsible for pitching current and catalog songs and for developing special promotional projects.

Baughn has also been Professional Manager at The Dick James Organization (1986-1988). He worked briefly for the publishing division of The Benson Company in 1986.

Baughn holds degrees from Auburn University and The University of North Alabama.
